November 6, 2025
On November 6, 2025, we lost our dear friend Paulie to an overdose.
This loss shook the entire Hope 2 Freedom family, the recovery community, and the Claremont community beyond words.
Paulie came to us broken, like many do, but he worked hard and began to rebuild his life piece by piece. He showed strength, honesty, and determination, and he became part of our family. His journey reminded all of us how powerful recovery can be — and how fragile it can also be.
His passing is a painful reminder that in recovery, one bad decision can cost everything. You never truly know what “one more time” can take from you. This is why we take recovery seriously every single day, and why we continue to hold each other accountable.
Paulie was someone who spoke the truth, even when it was hard to hear. He challenged us to be better, to do better, and to keep improving what we do here at Hope 2 Freedom. In many ways, he helped shape Hope 2 Freedom into what it is today.
Thank you, Paulie, for helping us become better people.
Thank you for letting us hold you accountable while you held us accountable.
Thank you for your honesty, your friendship, and your willingness to grow.
You will always be part of the Hope 2 Freedom family.
We will meet again.

Hope 2 Freedom Recovery Homes provides a safe, structured recovery environment offering multiple pathways to healing from past experiences. We support personal growth, accountability, and long-term recovery while empowering residents to rebuild their lives with purpose and stability.

The 1st Recovery Home we started with in Claremont, NH on January 31st, 2022.

Our 2nd men's home is named after Corey, who is our daughter Faith's heavenly Dad. He passed from a drug overdose on February 24, 2010. Corey was a jokester guy who loved to laugh and prank people. He was a family man at heart and showed it. Corey wanted nothing more than to be the best Dad for his daughter Faith and now Corey's Place gives that home for all the Dad's to do the same for their children and family.

Our 1st women's recovery home is named after Shawn's Mom, Donna. She loved having fun, celebrating holidays, laughing, spending time with her family, and of course the king himself, Elvis. This home is in honor of all the Mom's out there making it work for their family and the endless love that never dies.
